Are you a masculine guy who lives in a world where people dont really know who you are and you like it that way?

I'd have to wonder what he's so afraid of to remain closeted, and what kind of limitations this would impose on the relationship. I mean, would I be unable to display innocent affection in public to avoid outing him? Would he always be looking over his shoulder when we went out, if we went out at all? In what ways would I find myself excluded from the rest of his life, unable to be around his friends and family?

Hooking up with a closet case is one thing. But to be one's boyfriend? I have too little patience for that, and too much self respect.

you can be masculine and out. It doesn't mean you have to go telling everyone but why deny it when asked?

Besides, is that respectful to your bf, especially if he is out or wants to be out?

But it's your choice if you want to live that way.

I can't imagine wanting someone to respect a life built on lies piled on top of lies.
