He probably feels that kids are better went they aren't your sole responsibilty. But he's still being a jerk about it. And you sound like a jerk for brushing off grandkids like yesterday's garbage.

The Judgment is negative and the Will is positive. This is always true no matter who or what you are feeling. Grandpa's for the most part had to work while grandma was raising the parents. In the more positive of conditions both grandparents want to be a convenience rather than a burden to their parental children, and a benefit for their grandchildren. If the Judgment displaces the Will, then you have some bad history at work, more negation for the Will rather than the positioning that sustains the strength for the Will, the positive essence of the Spirit and a supportive intellect that is knowledgeable in the Soul which is all three in unity. When they are in disharmony or disunity, opposing one another, then you have a dammed Soul. Healing is needed.

If you can just let it go, I bet your stress levels will go way down. A resentment will poison your spirit. A justified resentment will kill you.
