ok my sister has a 30 gb ipod. i just got me a 4 gb ipod nano. can we both have itunes on the same computer? i am confused.

yes u can..
just plug whoevers ipod was plugged in first..and go to ur ipod tab on the right..
there is a box that says "manually manage music"..
check that box...
and u will be good to go..
no songs will be deleted of any ipods..

I dont think you can because you have to store a playlist and everytime you plug the Ipod in it refreshes your list based on the Itunes playlist.
I am pretty sure you have to have seperate Itunes. I think it MAY work if you do seperate log ins and screen names. Try that - it may store a playlist based on the user.

yes theres only one itunes per computer but they can both hook up to it you can actually hook both up @ the saame time me and my brother do it all the time! and you dont have to pay seperatly just hook it up even if you buy songs off of itunes they go to the library and ypou can put them on both i pods just make sure when you get songs to put them on your library so your sister can get that song if she wants it and make sure to name them differently so u can tell whos is whos!

yea u have to name your ipods differntly and put them in at difernt times
Its way simpler to be organized if you each manualy ut songs on using playlists

yeah but its annoying. check your music that you want to download and she checks her music she wants to downlod.any music checked will download. any music not checed wont
