Cloud watching. This is actually a hobby like bird watching. Watchers learn the different types of clouds and keep a record of which kinds they have seen.
As for myself, I have a lot of fun with photography. Today's digital cameras and programs like Photoshop make it really easy to get into and do interesting stuff. No more hours in a darkroom with toxic chemicals.
I also like to get together with friends and make movies. We write scripts, find locations, cast the parts, rehearse, and play all roles from director to script manager. Then we enter our productions in various contests. Again there is a lot you can do with a cheap digital camcorder and a basic movie editing program.
Then there is hiking. Depending on where you live you may be able to find a club that organizes day hikes to interesting places. Its a fun way to get and stay fit, you learn lots of neat stuff, and you meet great people. When you get tired of day hikes you might want to try backpacking, hikes of several days.
If you like any or all of these suggestions you can do them all on a hike: cloud watching, photography, and movie making.

Im into car audio competitions, its expensive, but you get to go to car shows and show off your stuff and look at other peoples systems and car modifications, i have 20 thousand dollars in my stereo, and the truck flexes when the music hits, its so interesting looking at the cars that go up and down have tv's in them really big trucks, really low ones fast cars motorcycles bikini contests, its a lot of fun , you travel out of town stay in nice motels, like mini vacations all the time, always something new,
