Hi Ele, Collin is right, they will make about 40,000 - 125,000 in a year. The ones who make 125,000 in a year are the specialized/experienced/talented vets, about 40,000 is where you could expect to start out at and move up from there. However, remember that being a vet requires a 4.0 GPA, lots of school, hard work, euthanasia, and call comparable to a doctor. Still sound good to you? Then go for it!

The middle half of all vets earned between $51,420 and $88,060 in 2004. The lowest-paid 10 percent earned less than $39,020 a year. The highest-paid 10 percent earned more than $118,430.

I work for a Veterinarian. The practice made about $400,000
last year. But after paying employees, taxes and over-head(drugs and supplies), The Doctor made $56,000

I work for a vet, and he makes enough to support his family, go on vacation, build a new house, and pay his employees.
