Tell it like it is! We have all been there. Trust Me on this. There is nothing worse than asking a legitimate question only to discover that You are the proud recipient of,
A), A stream of stupid answers,
B), "yes", "no" replies, or,
C), someone Else's opinion of what 'You' considered to be the best answer.
In some parts of the World this sort of interference with a person's endeavors to solicit information would be taken as being worse than censorship, it would be a violation of Their right to freedom of speech and self expression.

yeah cuz I feel Itook the time to give a decent answer that I found very helpful and thoughtfu and sometimes the voters just choose the funniest one. And I wonder what the asker thought of mine. Sometimes I feel the voters don't even read all of them. Or like what if you have a good answer and someone else just had a slight bit higher percent than you

Not really. I mean I don't choose a best answer when I feel no one has answered my question properly. I try to always choose a best answer but sometimes there isn't one that has answered the question correctly.

Well, I asked a question a while ago, a very specific one.
I got only 2 answers and they didn't give me what I was looking for.
I extended my question twice and no result.
Why then I should choose a best answer if I don't find any of them satidfying?

No, it doesn't offend me at all. Sometimes you just can't decide which is the best, so you have to have the voters do it. If I'm able, I choose tho and usually try to write a little comment.

It's just not fun without feedback. And when everyone else answering vote thumbs down on all the other answers, makes it unfair for all the serious, fair-playing answerers.

yes it does because i spend the time to answer.when i ask mine i always pick a best answer ..and always give a comment..it is only right after people do spend the time to answer your question you should go back and pick one..sometimes it is awful hard to do that on one of mine i had 49 or 50 answers and about 40 of those was good

No, because sometimes it is hard to choose & going to the vote takes the 'pressure' off.

ya, and in voting every one just picks the first answer anyways so the good answers with a lot of detail that took longer to write always get put at the bottom and never read. duh.....lol.......
