The thought has crossed my mind!! I saw a program where scientist determined global temperatures for the past 100,000 years by extracting core samples of ice in Antarctica. According to a graph that they showed, the current weather is definitely nothing out of the ordinary. It might be out of the ordinary for the past hundred years, but that is a relatively short amount of time.

No. But all the pollutants and harmful gases sure have been exascerbating global warming.

Dr. Robert Watson, then Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, said in 2001,

"The overwhelming majority of scientific experts, whilst recognizing that scientific uncertainties exist, nonetheless believe that human-induced climate change is already occurring and that future change is inevitable."

This captures the conclusions of the most recent comprehensive assessment of the state of climate change science by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
