The world will not end, global warming is actually a natural process it happens some thousand years for example the current average temp for earth is actually lower then what it was about 1000 years ago. And what are the harms well worse case senerio if all the ice caps melt in the world water level will rise by about 20ft meaning all beach front properties will be underwater. The other thing that will happen is decrease in ammount of drinking water. Even though glaciers or ice caps are not the major source of our drinking water they hold around 33% of all drinking water.

one of those could be that the world would end as we know it. The harm could be with the melting ice caps the ocean will rise around 20 feet, cause massive flooding, the temperature will rise and the summers will become hotter as well as the winters and the crops will suffer from this, the weather patterns will become more intense and Katrina will look like a puff of wind compared to what global warming can do. Also with no ozone layer to protect the planet from harmful ultraviolet rays, a person will not be able to go outside without being fried so laying out in the sun will not be an option anymore

global warming will effect the overall temperature of the earth making it hotter which in some poor/ 3rd world country's allot of people will die from the heat, it will cause the polar ice caps and Greenland to melt therefore raising the sea level resulting in mass flooding in many places (including Manhattan NY. and almost half of Florida) it will then change the ocean currents resulting in new sea temperatures which would change the overall temperature of different countries polar bears would probably go extinct in the wild you face a large risk going outside because off all the UV rays some animals may become extinct because of lack of water and food. and extreme weather all over the world would become relevant including extremely strong hurricanes although global warming is a natural occurrence the warming that we are entering right now is extremely abnormally hot compared to the rest of history.. if you want to know more unbelievable facts about global warming i highly recommend Al Gores movie " the inconvenient truth"

No harm can really come from it. Mass extinctions have occurred on earth for as long as there was life on earth. It's a normal healthy way for the earth to clean the slate and try something new.
And what if there is no such thing as global warming as it popular thought to be? What if the earth's orbit around the sun gradually, over thousands of years gets slightly closer and further away from the sun?

The effect could be very dangerous like.
The Tundra region will no longer have an Igloo, they may have a tent.
The Alps, Himalayas will shrink.
The areas below will submerge in water.
The level of sea water will rise flooding the area close to the sea.
Tsunami is probably one of the cause leaving over a hundres thousand + dead with a loss to crops and fields.
The quantam of water which is supposed to be arounf 71% will rise. The land which is 29% will come down

the Ice on the polar icecaps will melt causing floods in low lying
coastal areas.Polar bears and other animals are faced with starvation. Agriculture will be negatively affected because of droughts. It happened before at the end of the Ice Age 10 000 years ago

I don't know if the world will end, but it screws up the weather patterns, damages the natural environment and puts great strain on our resources.
