Probably because he can't believe how much money he's just screwed the public out of and is having a hard time taking it all in.

Gordy's mandible drop is actually his 'tell' as you have noticed. It happens because he finds the subject of his oration so incredibly funny that he wants to burst out laughing, but he finds that if he sucks in a deep breath and drops his jaw down abruptly, he can cut the cackle off before it emerges from his throat. Very necesssary for a politician. Probably more honest than Blair's faux sympathetic eyebrow thing, but just another sign of how false these ghastly people are. Behind the scenes of course, Gordy completely loses it and rolls about all over the floor holding his sides whilst he guffaws about the stupidity of the British people.

I do believe it's because he has a dominant Cro-Magnon gene which forces him to (due to inadequate brain capacity) to instinctively open his mouiht in order to provide more oxygen to his miniature brain.
Thusly, his low motor skills and primitive responses,as evident from his low brow, dangling arms and ungainly simian gait, force him to become apparently slack-jawed during recitations of speech consisting of complex syllable patterns.

Most people have minor and irritating personal foibles. Why ask this question? You are not going to get any informative answers. Why do do you have the personal annoying anomaly of asking brainless questions?

I agree and have noticed this problem he has (not his fault) but it is extremely irritating and not what I want to see as the political leader of the UK.
Let us hope they all go with B-liar as they are all tainted with his actions and policies and not fit to govern.
