Wonder Woman is from earth. She's from Themyscira, the Land of the Amazons. It's an island created by the five goddesses of Olympus for them to promote the ways of peace. Wonder Woman was sent out into "Man's World" as a diplomat and a ambassador of peace umong men. She now serves in the Justice Leauge of America.

She's from Earth, not an alien like Superman or the Martian Manhunter, but she' s actually a magical being.
Her mother Hippolyta (queen of the Amazons), sculpted Wonder woman from clay and the statue was given life by the Greek gods.

Whew! I saw all the other comments, and it has been a long, long while since I've thought of wonder woman. But I thought for sure she was from earth, too. But when I first saw this question, I thought OMG!! Have I been under the wrong impression for 28 years???
