lip gloss is pretty much like chapstick, so i think they can start wearing it at any age!
If u r looking for a brand, Lip Smackers is the perfect one, they have some that r lip moisterizers along with gloss. I think they were specifically made for the younger girls

well i think that girls should be able to wear lipgloss at any age 4-10000000 because for little girls it is part of "dress up" and for girls ages 8-16 it is great because it is not as dramatic as bold lip stick also anyone can wear it for a subtle shine. i know 5 year olds who where it, 12 year olds, 27 year olds and even 74 year olds so i think anyone can wear it at any age, just not babys or kids who you think will eat it, also if you have a daughter who wants to wear it, it should be fine, for it is a sign she is developing her own style which is something EVERY girl does eventually. so dont try to stop her
hope this helps you and good luck

Well lipgloss isn't really a big makeup glam.. so I'd say around 6-8 is a good time to start.. a little clear gloss never hurt anyone! lol.

My daughter's two and she has her own tube of chap stick she carries in her own purse. But I don't think I'd be comfortable with her wearing anything like a tinted gloss until she's 11. Maybe even then same mary-kate and Ashley stuff because it targets girls that age.

I would say junior high - 12 yo. That's a turning point and shows that you are putting some significance around the decision.
