Yes, if it's made out of something other than feathers. They take kind of a long time to dry and they sometimes get lumpy. Sometimes you are better off putting them in a large tub with warm water and a little detergent and squishing the water through it but then it's hard to get the soapy water out of it to rinse it and then you'd have to spin it in the washer before you dry it. Put tennis balls in the dryer when you dry it.

Since it is polyester and cotton it may bunch up when washed & dried. You might be better off to get a new pillow. Walmart has Down Alternitive pillows that wash and dry really nice. I wash ours about once a month.

Pillows should be thrown out after one to three years. It depends on how much bio matter has ended up on it. Such as sweat, drool, tears and who knows what else. If they are washed they must be put in the dryer to kill all organisms that surely will not only live through the washing machine, but also will thrive from the moisture.

Yes I do all the time. Leave pillow in pillow case and wash normal, This does include feather pillows which they recommend washing at least once a year .

I toss 2 pillows in my washing machine on hot water. If your washer's not big enough, take them out to be laundered.
You do have to put 2 in so the machine stays level- and as for drying, run them through the dryer at least twice. :)

I do. I don't put them in there with anything else. And I wouldn't put no more than two small or medium pillows at a time. When i done, I throw em in the dryer. Put my pillow case on, and there ya go. :)

If anything so dirty happens that it soaks through the pillowcase than I just toss the pillow and invest in more. I'd be afraid of putting the polyfil stuff in the dryer b/c it might melt and down/feather stuff smells funky if you wash it.
