Itunes HELP!?

What does it mean to "consolidate" your library? I recently lost all the songs on my itunes, im sure their on my comp somewhere but, cant seem to locate them and copy them back to itunes, any adive is appreciated. thnax....

first off, locate your music with the windows search function (just search for a song you know you have). once you have that folder, open up itunes and add those folders to your library. Done.

if you were really smart thuogh, youd delete itunes and go get winamp, a superior program.
