I lacerated my finger while on the job and had to have surgery on it. Now I am off work for two weeks. Can anybody tell me what happens next? What happens if I never get the feeling back in my finger? Is workmans comp going to reimburse me for all of my time? I have never had to do this before so maybe somebody can tell me what I need to do from experience, I appreciate any help you can give me, thanks.

Hopefully you filed a workers comp report after the injury; correct? Every company has different guidelines to follow so you should check with your immediate supervisor and/or Human Resource representative. They'll gather information from your doctor regarding return to work status and whether any special accommodations need to be made while you're on the job and still healing.

depending on how you play this you will walk awaw with money or get screwed like i did , i fell in front of 15 people 15 feet due to faulty equipment was out of work for 6 months had a 40 thousand surgery and never got a dime, they will try to give you nothing, if its gonna cost your job then so be it dont get messed over from a greedy employer, seek a lawyer its all free if it turns into a suit, they will get paid when you do, dont lye down on this talk to a lawyer its a free consultation good luck

Not experienced in worker's comp - but you may be better off not accepting a single payment at the onset (and waiving your rights in lieu of that), since you do not know how it would go. But I do hope and pray that you come out fine. Good luck, sir!
