For my science class i need to know what the function of a nuclear membrane is. I have no idea and i have tried to search it up many many times. Please help me out! Thank you...

I have a biology project that I'm working on and that was one of the questions so this is what I put. The nuclear membrane is a boundary and determines what comes in and goes out.

A nuclear membrane is also known as a nuclear envelope. "Nuclear Envelope" is a more common term. It separates the contents of the nucleus (DNA in particular) from the cytosol.
