We all have something about ourselves we want to hide. We lie to hide it from others.
We also lie to keep from hurting others and getting into conflicts.

Some people lie because they don't want to hurt other people's feelings or because they want to protect themselves from getting in trouble.

for the one whose lying, it is because for their own convenience... everyone at least try that, Even i done it (theres no doubt, everyone) back then, it is ourselves who made fool of us!
