Even though when i see his entrance on TV you can hear mostly cheers i wonder if there are still people who don't like him and the just happen to be less than the John Cena fans. And is it a lot of people who don't like John Cena or a few (i know they're not the mayority though)

Ok. This may not be so much of an answer vs. me just giving my long-winded opinion, but I just have to vent here. Although John Cena the man outside the ring is very hard working and puts forth a lot of effort to satisfy fans with autograph appearances and so forth, inside the ring is a completely different story. The thing is his every move and word is spoon fed to him by the writers. The character that they have for him is a joke and makes me sick. And although that it's just super great that he overcomes all these obstacles, it just completely bothers me that the writers no longer have any sense of reality whatsoever. Cute little John Cena with his very impressive physique I must admit can not validly defeat the 500lb big show. He can not take on the entire spirit squad. Etcetera etcetera. I realize I'm in the minority here and I consider myself to be an old hippy for hating his character but I also think the main reason he's so freakin great is because he simply is good eye candy for the ladies. I could go on but I'll just stop now. I feel better.

Cena? I can take him or leave him. Hes just another wrestler to me. Not great, but then again not a joke. Alot of people say he didnt deserve to be given the title, but then again i can name many other wrestlers who they have given the title to who didnt deserve it. (REY MYSTERIO)
Other than that Cenas movie sucked. How can they call a movie "The Marine" when it didnt have anything to do with a marine in active duty? The character he played in the movie is a marine on leave who's wife gets kidnapped and he has to rescue her. Had little of anything to do with the Marines or military combat. I was expecting it to center around a marine in Iraq or something.
But i have to give Cena hats off for his support of our military. That does seem genuine and not a joke or gimmick on his part. He has done alot of appearances to help and cheer up wounded servicemen returning from Iraq. Cant knock that.

I have heard a lot of people booing him as well. I do not think I have heard of a wrestler that has got a cheer or jeer from the complete audience. Every wrestler gets cheers and jeers.

I dont think its as bad. He seems to have "gotten over" a bit more with the fans. Dropping the rapper gimmick helped...nobody liked Vanilla Ice and nobody wanted to see a wrestling Vanilla Ice! His new look suits him better.
