I'm a women and on women I tend to like dark brown hair without highlights. Highlights are ugly.

Any color but red is good with me.
Highlights are fine but not too much.

Depends on the guy. My husband likes my hair long and dark blonde.
I had another boyfriend who liked my hair when it was short and red.
Another liked it when it was short and black.
Yet another liked it when it was mid-length and blonde.
As I said, depends on the guy. Most don't care, as long as it's clean, smells nice, and looks neat.
