I see..it's the attitude you don't like. I agree, actually. I'm not at all a snob. I'm very open minded.

What is the exzact meaning of preppy?
In school they say its the "in fad crowd" but ...
I get told by others it's kids that go to "High Class Private Schools"
either way Im not sure why they are hated.

Has to do with metabolism. Most people have low metabolism, so they look at life as something upsetting. Preppy people have high metabolisms. To them, life is great, exciting, fun. This annoys people who are NOT preppy.
Preppy is good.

well, a lot of people dislike people who are different than them. the same thing could be said for goths, punks, hippies....you know. I am very Gothic and often get angry at preps because through their style of dress and cheerfulness they seem to have it all figured out. I know they don't, no one does, but well....that's what it seems like sometimes. hope it helps. we don't really hate you...at least i don't.

Do they really hate preppy people? Maybe they are so caught up in their own egotistical way of seeing themselves that they are not able to see you for you.

Any more that just means you comb your hair, and tuck your shirt tail into your pants that have been ironed.

Cause most of them are stuck up assholes. That don't mean all of them are though. I had a couple of friends that were kinda preppy, but they were nice.

That is only a middle-school thing. People will grow up and stop classifying people by the type of clothes you wear. Just give it time.

not everybody hates preps, but most people have it in their heads that preps are annoying and think they are better than everybody.
