Alto is a deeper voice, while soprano is higher. I am an alto. Neither is necessarily better than the other. Both can be very good with lots of practice. When I first started singing I was on the very deep end of alto but now my range has broadened and I can sing some low soprano notes. Keep up the interest and practice and be the best at whatever you are!

Alto is lower, soprano is higher.
Neither is better, they're just different...but altos tend to have a wider voice range.
I'm an alto, but I can also sing soprano (I can hit up to a high C), and treble.

Alto and sporano are what are called octaves. They are basially the range of your voice. Soprano is quite high on the scale, alto is high, but not as high as soprano.
