Call them the next day, reapply in a couple weeks & call again. Repeat, repeat. You DO want to pester them. They'll get to realize that you really want to work there

When I employ staff for http://www.ausis.info and my other sites I choose only from those who show initiative and that is
those who call in or phone up about 3 - 5 days after applying for any of my positions. I view less than 3 days as the
person is desperate therefore I can possibly
negotiate a lower wage or they are a real go getter but this needs to be proven. How you prove it depends on the job,
such as bring an example of a project.
Do you like spam as this is how I as an employer feel when I am bombarded by TXt msgs emails phone calls. This shows me
the person is not using their time constructively. Show you are interested in the future of the company by researching it
even a bit. Grab a graph of the stock from www.google.com . You want the employer to know that you have stability and
want a stable workplace.

i would say wait 2 weeks after you put in your appl. i know you don't want to annoy anyone..that's how i felt my first job. but actually even going there and asking to talk to the manager is even better than calling them. it shows them your prepared to take action for what you want. and you being there in person rather than calling him takes a little bit more work and hopefully that way you can make a good impression that will stick in his head so he'll hire you. that is how i got most of my job. got talk to the person in charge and turn on the charm.

Don't wait too long - 3 days at most, I'd say. However, when you submitted the application, did you ask about it? If they said "Call in a week" and you call in 3 days .. not good.

Give them time to check your references and previous employers - about a week should do it - then call - make sure you know the person's name and ask for them - good luck!@~

The next day may be a tad too soon. Chances are your application hasn't even been reviewed. I'd wait a few days. Good luck dude...hope you get it too!
