I have to spend summers there now because my sister loves it and thats who takes care of me. At least I can bring one friend for 3 weeks with us!

hi...it will depend on where you at and what you like. Are you going to be in the city or the suburbs? Or are you going to be in the resorts areas by the lakes. Or are you going to be just in a rural area or in a small town.
I live in Minnesota north of the metro and it took some getting used to for me. At least teens always seem to make memories in the summer months so you will probably have a great time.

I live in and love Minnesota. The hot just like every other state and there are tons of things to do. We're not called the land of 10,000 lakes for nothing. I spend the majority of my time on the lake in the summers. There are tons of places where you can rent jetskis if you don't have a boat. Downtown is great and again, there's a lot to do. It really depends on what you're in to.
Of course you've heard of the Mall of America, which you can easily spend a lot of time at!!! Try to go to Valleyfair (in Shokopee), the Park at MOA, the Waterpark of America. Other places you may want to check out are the Minnesota Zoo, State Fair, Renaissance Festival, and the science museum. The twin cities are also known for their art whether it be performing or otherwise. Check out what's going to be at the Orpheum this summer, chances are it'll be something good.

I was impressed with the area over by the Mall of America. It was really nice there. That is about all I know of Minnesota. Only been around the area of Mall of America and the Minneapolis airport, so I cannot say too much more about it.
