When a web link is deleted from the history list, how can you bring it back?

The link may be gone, but the cookies from that site may still be there.
Tools >Internet Options >General Tab >Browsing history settings >View files

Yeah, it's lost. History is just a string of text in an ini file on most browsers. Try google or Yahoo and use any keywords you can think of to find the page again.

revisit the site. Once something is truly deleted from a computer, you need to recreate it. If you still track history, the only way to get it back is to revisit it.

Depends if it was the history list of your browser or the hidden history list stored on every computer of the sites they access. which one did you delete it from?

well if its windows u can do system restore, to stop deleting go to start control panel network and internet connections internet options on the first tab go to settings and make the space larger so u can hold more

If you use an undelete program you may be able to recover the file. But if the file is overwritten you are screwed.

Alternatively, download and install Google Desktop on your system You will love it..

You can check and see if you can a cookie in your cookie file from that site.
