I've don't konw if its ture or not but if it is there no use of paying all that money. For those who have one or not is this romor ture?

I used to have a ps3( sold it cuz it sucked) Ps3 only plays SOME ps2 games, not a lot. It doesnt even ply star wars battle fron 1 or 2. I now have a Wii. Wii is better. Buy it

It does, but some games graphics don't cooperate with the PS3's so it all depends on the game. I've also heard the version of the PS3 depends on that too.

IT IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!! with the new Crappy piece of **** Blu-ray all th e old discs can't work!!!!!!!!!!!! and the reason they switched to blu-ray was because "it gives better quality" BS. if the had the orignal reader they probably would be doing better. the Wii sold way more than the ps3 did

yes of course the ps3 playes ps2 games
it might not function properly with all the games but it does play over 97 percent of them

i don't have one, but supposebly its supposed to play the full library of PS2 games, with "some exceptions". im pretty sure this is true.
