Becketts card guide

You can expect to get the true value on e-bay based on what the highest bidder is willing to pay. You can also buy Beckett's Price guide (monthly magazine available at most news stands), but Beckett's and almost anywhere will just give you the retail value, which isn't very realistic. I was disappointed to find out that my baseball cards from years gone by are fairly valueless. I had a lot of good ones. Barry Bonds rookies, Ken Griffey Jr. rookies, and probably a dozen Pedro Martinez rookies. Tons & tons overall. Still -- not much value.

However, if you have a good rookie card that is in absolutely pristine condition, and you have it authenticated as Gem Mint by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticators) -- which costs a lot of money to have done -- then you could get a good amount of money.

Otherwise, the only ones worth something are the ones kids collected before they ever knew they would be worth something.

Most of the online sites are based on printed publications such as Becketts. You can check ebay and see the buy-it-now prices. Those give you a good idea altough its hard to tell. Some cards no one wants.

maximum places that carry mutually lists like that do it so that you may pay to get the information. Ebay is a fairly good position to get expenses. the great thing about them is that you do not ignore that someone easily paid the fee. Do a historic search for and seek for auctions which have ended and pay interest to those that had bids. yet another idea is to bypass to web content that promote playing cards and note what they promote the playing cards for. this isn't that great of a concept yet is extra effective than not something. they could have a card for sale on there and it truly is priced too extreme and all of us isn't procuring it. in case you try to promote yours on a similar fee you'll struggle through a similar destiny. you may also verify out their web page and note in case you'll locate their purchase lists. maximum of those places purchase playing cards yet they very much underprice them in those lists. From those lists inspite of the indisputable fact that you'll a minimum of get a concept of what's conventional.
