It's rediculous, i don't hardly go anymore. But there are morons out there that pay to see it. As long as you have them, there will always be high prices.

well ive always sat at my house 2 watch a game. where i live it isnt near anything major so its hard 2 travel somewhere just 2 see a game. here the biggest thing is 2 go see the local hs football games...lol. but yea, id much rather sit at home and watch the games. u dont have 2 put up with all these idiots out there who wanna pick a fight with u bc u root 4 the oposite team that they do, and u dont have 2 put up with all the trafic. and yes, i do think tickets r 2 high 4 most seats. if u wanna sit right down there where u get all the action like in the first few rows or right behind home plate it could get kinda expensive.

There's nothing like the atmosphere at a ball park if you really love the game. And its much more exciting than watching it on TV. Yes, it does cost a small fortune any more - I can remember the first major league game I ever went to in St. Louis - I'm showing my age here - but it cost something like $2.50 for a ticket. And I've been to a lot since then and even though the prices are extremely high - its still much more fun and exciting in person.

Probably because they have been lousy to mediocre at best the past ten years, Brewers tickets are relatively inexpensive. You can always get tickets in the Uecker or nosebleed section for cheap and move down to find better seats, aside from the very best seads the ushers are not bad at all about you moving around in general. I like to go a few times a year and find it a good value, even with parking. And I'd pay a couple bucks to watch the sausage race alone.

I dont' think they're too high for a night/evening/afternoon of entertainment. If I lived where there was professional baseball, as I did when I lived in So. Ca., I'd go quite often. As it is, the closest ball park near me is the Ballpark in Arlington...and it's beautiful...but it takes 6 hrs to get there and I have to spend a weekend plus expenses to go. If you think about it, it's not much more than the price of a movie ticket if you get the cheap seats...but I love the atmosphere of a ball game. You can't get that sitting at home on your couch.

It all depends. If you are going to watch the Orioles and the Blue Jays, you don't want to pay too much.
However, if you ever get a chance to get a Red Sox-Yankees game at either ballpark, check it out. It's worth the price of admission and the fans chanting back inforth at each other is a lot of fun. Sox-Yanks is easily one of the best rivalries in sports and you will not have a boring time regardless of who you are cheering for or how much you pay for the ticket.

The question is where? tickets are reasonably price but "MLB" gets you at the concession stands. 4$ for bottle water, When did a dog cost so much. In RFK Stadium (Nationals) everything cost $6, but on the outside of the beltway, at Camden Yards (O's) everything cost $5). When it comes to tickets prices vary based on the number of seats and what the team wants to charge for each seat. A ticket at Fenway Park or Wrigley Field is going to cost more than a 50,000 seat stadium.

Depends, you can check out a game at Kauffman Stadium in KC, one of the most beautiful parks in all of MLB, for between $8 -$30. You can't beat that on a cool crisp night or a hot summer day with the water spectacular, the JumboTron, natural grass and a Bud in your hand.

Compared to the other major league sports, not at all. You have to remember, they have 81 games to get their money from tickets whereas NFL only has 8 (not counting playoffs, obviously on all sports) NHL has 40 and NBA 41. I love attending Brewers games and go to 5-10 a year.

It all depends on where you want to sit. Its a matter of supply and demand. People will pay more to sit near the baselines, behind the plate and in the padded VIP sections. But if you want to sit in the upper outfields you can get seats for 4-10 dollars.
