one said 5 million one said 1.8, are you going to make me do my own research? We have that many troops? why did we not send more to active fronts? overwhelm the enemy? Also it seems to me: first they say Al Quada is in (blank) country, then they send in planes to drop bombs, then troops, then Haliburton

Somalia was a hit and run. We have troops all around the world. We can pull some from Germany and other areas where they are not needed.

America has 1.8 million active personnel.
Only 130,000 are in Iraq. A draft? I think not. America is geared to fight 2 simultaneous World Wars. That means, America is able to fight 2 China's at the same time..THAT IS POWER!!!

The US Military currently stands at 5 million strong, with recruitment goals being met monthly. The draft idea was a scare tactic invented by democrats who have no right to wear the designation 'patriot'.

Or he could just pull the thousands of troops out of Germany that are stationed there. It seems when we wanted their help they weren't up to the task. So much for gratitude,guess we should have let Hitler have Europe.

He didn't attack Somalia. He attacked Al Quida hideouts in Somolia. Two different things. Terrorists are terrorists, wherever they are, and I recall Mr. Bush saying we would hunt them down and kill them, wherever they are. He is a man of his word.
