If your supposed best friend is always getting mad at you because you're trying to explain to her how you feel and you expect her to listen (as best friends should) then she obviously isn't worth your time. I think your best bet is to just let her go. I mean, honestly, think about it. Do you really want to spend time with someone who hurts your feelings, and most likely your trust? Do you really want to be friends with someone who doesn't get it and possibly doesn't even make an effort to understand why you're upset? Do you really want to be friends with someone who gets mad at you for things like that?

Your best friend isn't being fair or being a friend to you at all. If she were, she would consider what you said and take it into account, whether or not she agrees with you. It's probably super hard to just let someone go who used to be your best friend, but isn't it a worse thought to constantly ask yourself 'Why would my BEST FRIEND continually hurt me like this?'

I think the most important thing is that you want to surround yourself with people that will bring you up and not down - learn that at an early age and it will definitely help you in the long run.

Man, you got guts, more than I have. First of all, because you spoke up and didn't let your friend walk all over you. Second, because you did it 3 times! I know it's hard to drift away from good friends; I've experienced it. But bottom line, you, like you told your friend, deserve to be respected. Friends are supposed to encourage and support you, and your "friend" isn't doing that. So go stop wasting your time with this girl, and find yourself the good friend you deserve.

I'm going through the same thing. I feel like i don't have anyone to tell everything to anymore. I don't think she is a friend, or at least she's definitely no your best friend. A best friend listens to you and cares about how your feeling. You shouldn't just stop being her friend but stop relying or depending on her like you used to. Try to become closer to someone else, some one who listens to you.

If you have told her that she hurts your feelings and she continues to do so then I'd just distance yourself from her. I've had this happen to me before. If you really care about your friend you don't necessarily need to cut her totally off from you but you could just be friends that see and talk every once in awhile...ANd look for somebody else to be more of a friend to you......It worked for me...Saves you from getting hurt....
