Dudley has never met Hermione, thus making this rather impossible. However, Harry often admires Hermione's intelligence and hard work in his own thoughts.

harry does at one point i don't exactly remember which book. not sure if you meant dudley, cause dudley never even meets hermione. you may have meant ron, who does seem to have a bit of a liking for her.
