I have a friend who is legally blind. It was determined by her doctor. What she sees are shapes. Everything is dark and cloudy. If I were to stand in front of her she can see the shape of my body but can't see my face. The only color she sees is grey and black.

a doctor has to declare u legally blind based upon your eye exam

That would be pretty stupid to fake like you couldn't see if you really could. I am legally blind, and without my coke bottle cap glasses, I couldn't see jack squat. I'd give anything to have perfect sight.

Eye doctors have tests to detect this. It is called malingering.
