Why is it okay for minorities to be racist?

Its really starting to irritate me. Carlos Mencia can get up on stage and mock white people, and people think its funny, but if it was a white person making fun of mexicans, they'd get lynched. I've walked into resturants and been told to my face that I won't be served because I'm white. If I told a black person I wouldn't serve them because they were black, I'd get killed, but vice versa is perfectly acceptable. Why is black pride something thats wonderful, but white pride is racist? Why is there a 'United *****'s college fund", but not a "united caucasion college fund'? There are poor white people too! Why should companies have to, by law, hire a black canditate thats equally qualified with a white candidate, just because he's black? Or a college have to accept a rich minority applicant over a poor white one? In my lifetime, I've seen much more racism directed towards white people then vice versa. Why is this okay? How is affirimative action not racist?

Just for the record, I'm NOT racist. If someone is a good person, I don't care what color they are. It just seems to me that white people are being presecuted more then any other race, and no one cares! Its the most difficult to get into college if you are a middle class white person, but easier if your a middle class minority. How is any of this fair?

Why should I pay for what minorites were put through in the past? The irish were targeted when them immigrated.. where is the law protecting irish people?

I'm not blowing this out of proportion, here. I'm from a city, and this sort of thing happens CONSTANTLY. My dad was in charge of the hiring for his company, and on a daily basis, someone told him that he HAD to hire them because they were a minority, or they'd sue.

Why am I paying for what my ancestors did? What does history have anything to do with it? A person wouldn't go to another person of the same race and say "your grandfather beat up my grandfather! I'm suing you!" I didn't do anything to you, and thats where it should end!

Affirmitive action just leads to more racism. Some white people are picking on minorities now because they have 'special rights'.

Why base it on race at all? Why not make it economic status? Wouldn't that be fair for everyone? Anyone from a rich backround has to work harder then anyone from a poor backround who didn't have the same resources.

Unfortunately for minorities:

1. It's politically correct to make fun of (or degrade) caucasions if you're any race

2. It's politically correct to make fun of (or degrade) a race if your a member of that race

3. It's not politically correct for a person to make fun of (or degrade) a person of a different race.

The unfortunate thing is that many minorities don't realize that items #1 and #2 will contribute to #3. Bill Cosby and others try to point that out, with minimal success. The so called civil rights leaders are slow to jump on that obvious truth. So slow, I've come to the conclusion that their true motives are not to help the minorities they represent, but are something more selfish.

Whenever two or more racial groups interact over the same area and compete for the same resources there will always be bias for how that resources is distributed. Right now the reason why minorities can be racists is because they can file suit with many different government backing without it being dismissed while these same government agencies would dismiss the complaints from anyone who's White due to lack of any political action groups that could represent you. What will happen in the future if this continues? Well it seems people forgot all the race riots of the 50-70s but this time if it's open enough it may be racial warfare (Black population was too low in the past to make this a reality, White population will be high enough that this could be a probability). I think it's ok for minorities to be racists but also at the same time I think it's also ok for the majority to be racists as well.

What many also don't understand is that when Whites fight non-Whites the kill ratio is unusually high usually a 7:1 or better ratio in the White favor. I don't think races can co-exist, facts/truth are suppressed and one group must always become exploited so the other group can exist in a false level of equality. I'm half White/Oriental, I see both racial groups giving off a false sense of equality when usually in private preaching otherwise. I personally think what should happen is a racial separation and division of the nation's assets, I think the only way to keep a non-discriminatory environment is not to have a group to discriminate against. Occam's Razor for racism is what should be practiced, if all are equal then each group should flourish independently, only those who fear separation may have opinions that certain groups may not cope, it's usually the one they belong too.

No there isn't. And if they are a little low on there money all they have to do is apply for administator of some buisness and they are 99% likely to get the position, even if they come off the streets, where a black works in the buisness for 30 year without a single raise.

It is equally wrong for anyone of any race to be discriminatory. It was necessary, in the beginning, to make acceptions for blacks because they were kept in poor schools and didn't have equal access to education. Now, however, most all Americans have equal access to education.

I am of the opinion that ALL races should be treated with equal respect. It should be no better for someone to insult a person of the white race than it is to insult a person of any other race. If other races don't want us to use words such as the "N" word (I can't beleive they edited out the word in the movie "The Jerk."), then they shouldn't use it themselves as they do so often with each other.

Right there... you just said it. YOUR lifetime. The thing is, racism has been here far longer than you have been here, and it was much more rampant back then, especially from the whites. History will always survive, and so will the ill feelings even several generations later.

Is it FAIR for the minorities to be racist? No. Is it LESS frowned upon? Yes. Why? Because we are the MINORITY! We're the ones who are usually discriminated against more than the straight white male who is considered the first-class citizen. It's typically harder for a minority to get a say, to get equal opportunities, etc., which is why we're CALLED the "minority."

Why do I support the LGBT? Why do I feel the need to support a minority? If I don't and others don't, then wouldn't it just fade away into obscurity, drowned by the mainstream hetero population? WE deserve a chance to speak, too, and because there's less of us, we need to speak louder for all the ignorant people who've got it better than us to hear.

Why is there not a a United Caucasian College Fund...? Just how many African Americans do you see going to college or even getting the OPPORTUNITY to get to go to college? Hey, I'm not saying they don't go. I am friends with several bright and intelligent African Americans, but if we're generalizing here, blacks tend to be from tougher, less affluent neighborhoods than the GENERAL white community, okay? So, even if you, a white person, have trouble getting into a college because in YOUR individual case you are not that rich, then you'd be considered to be in the minority of the white community. Vice versa, African Americans who are rich and can afford to easily go to a college are also in the minority of their own community. The majority of whites are middle-class to upper-class, and the majority of blacks are lower-class to middle-class. The minorities aren't as cared for, but obviously, there are other possibilities to pay for college! Sooo... why are you wasting your time b*tching online when you can be looking for potential scholarships or financial aid...?

You may complain all you want and say it isn't fair that the minorities can direct racist things at the majority white population, and you're correct; it isn't fair. Well, welcome to society and harsh reality. Also, you should try studying and researching the history of violence, racism, and oppression felt by the minorities back in the days... maybe you'll change your attitude just a bit as far as the whole "I've seen much more racism directed towards white people than vice versa" crap.

1 I don't think you have even been alive long enough to form an intelligent defense for your argument. 2 maybe if you have black friends with grandparents (born in the 20's or 30's) be humble (and from reading your rant its going to be hard) go ask them what they lived through and endured and tell them to get over it. Well look, i am a mexican, and look i may be young but im not stupid, yeah carlos meancia does make fun of whites, but watch the show and you will realize that he makes fun of Mexicans, muslumis and other minority's. The way that you said about being descriminated agasinst beacause your white, that may have happend once or twice, but imagine what some immigrants go through everyday trying to find employment or when they strp into a mostly white populated place. I can totally see the way that you feel upset because you as a white are considered racist, it you call a mexucan a beaner or something of the sort but for example, if i, as a mexican, called someone that, it would be more accetable simply beacuse i come from the same backround as that of the mexican, it may be unfair, but sometimes life is like that.

if you lived in the UK, Great Britian, or whatever you know us as, you would know that even though i live in England, and we have a English football team, and indeed you speak our language English. England no longer exists, its far to offensive. However you can still be Welsh Irish or Scottish. racism is not good no matter what your department. people are too "blind" to the truth in the world. things change, people change. never will be able to cheer up the world, thanks to the politicians, and the me-me-me .
the general world population is skeroowd to believe in mankind as a whole; that we are different and the same at the same time.
