character traits for whom??? well, flat out, character traits ar ewords that describe you *i think* like... im gonna TRY to describe my friend shawn. sleepy, artistic, etc...
yah, words to describe the character! that TRAITS of a person. A trait is...

Patient, arrogant, kind, impulsive, curious, introspective, funny, loyal, dishonest- those are character traits
Characteristics on the other hand would include strength, hand-eye coordination, intelligence, etc.
