There is no "real way" to hide your IP Address. Your IP or MAC Address can always be traced back to it's original location - one way or another. Even with Steganos, you are not completely "protected". Any data that is sent/received via their VPN is accessible or can be viewed by - Steganos.

Im a network analyst, and have done tests to locate people using such software- for testing purposes. Of the top programs that successfully hide IP and computer user information I would suggest Steganos Internet Anonym
