Im not thinking that i know who will be #1 is the winner of this game i just put this out thewre to see what people will think...some people just take this to serouisly..jeees but wouldn't throw a wrnch in there if some sportswriter did that vote some one other than OSU or Florida?/

If Florida wins, there will be a split title since Boise State will likely get enough votes to be #1 in the writers' poll. And I would vote for Boise State in that instance.

lol...ok...but Arkansas crushed auburn so theres no way. Florida wins, theyre # 1..case closed..but OSU will :D
Robert, I beg to disagree. Wisconsin had only 1 loss, a close loss to Michigan.OSU had a close win vs Michigan. We'll never know what an WIS/OSU matchup would have been because they didn't play each other. :( They deserve to be top 3 .
And yes , It's high time for some sort of playoff system.

Winner of this game will be rated #1. It is the system in place. Funny thing is the two best teams outside of OSU and Florida both had two losses.
NCAA has to go to at least a mini playoff. Think how great it would be this year.

But actually, Florida will be number 1 if they win.

as long as cal and fla has the most sports writers voting, stupidity will reign in collage title ranking.look back a couple years to what happend to LSU it happend then, it did before,and will again.playoffs would be very hard to manage,but some kind of better system has to be found.start with limting the number of sports writer votes per state,give each the same number to each state.but yes i agree auburn should be number 1...........in alabama
