Haven't had any difference in house but this year can't get humidity down and when went on vacation it smelt musty. maybe moldy. seems to be maybe around ceiling/wall line that could be problem. What do i need to look for and do to find the problem before it is one.

you could have a roof leak and it's soaking your wall and ceiling when it rains. how old is your roof? can you get a good angle to see it, or is it too flat? have it inspected by a roofer if you can't see it well, or don't know how old it is. good luck.

Ewww, please seek professional cleaning help... Check the yellow pages. Get a humidifyer for the winter and one of thoes air filteration system. If the air in your house is cleaned out chances are you would not run into this problem. And, sanitize! sanitize! sanitize!
