Yes, because in order to have political capital you need to make popular and favorable decisions, and although this last election was more of a loss for republicans than a win for democrats, they still have many people who are expecting to see some of the changes that they announced they would make.

Whenever a political party takes control of the House and the Senate, there is political capital to spend.

Bush had tons of political capital after 911 he could even talk people into invading a country that had nothing to do with 911 if he wanted.

I'm sure they do. Do you know how many people depend on them to keep taking the money of hard workers and give it to those who don't work at all. Dem are going to be a pain in the *** for years to come. But after a few more 9/11's and a few more failure "great societies" maybe the American people will wake up and see that this crap is well........................CRAP
