Have you ever heard of the "HELP" that comes with PowerPoint!? Call up "PowerPoint" click on "HELP" or press the "F1" Key. But on off chance you can't read, here the exact instructions as per "PowerPoint";

Add or change a slide background picture

Click Background on the Format menu.

Under "Background fill", click the down arrow, click "Fill Effects", and then click the "Picture tab".

Click "Select Picture", find the folder that contains the picture you want, double-click the file name, and then click "OK".

To apply the change to the current slide, click "Apply".
To apply the change to all slides, click "Apply to All".

Just in case you don't get it with the Quotes("), it means that it spelt that away.

if you save the pic onto your computer on the desktop.
then you can go to: Insert>>picture>>from file
Look for the file in your desktop. And click insert. When you are done, then you can delete the picture.
