It's the day I both dread and excited to death about, the big date. I set down my book, Col. Mustard, in the library and get up, walk to the stairs, slowly climb and go to my room to get ready. I shower, dress, and begin to comb my hair when the doorbell rings. Oh no, 10 minutes, just give me 10 minutes more and I'd be ready. I run the comb through my hair quickly, it sticks, omg I will not panic even though the comb is stuck in my hair. I yank it out and run tot eh door. I open it to find it's not my date, I think he's the deranged man from the dry cleaners, and foolishly running in my heels, I lose my balance and as I went to open the door, I tripped and fell right into his outstretched arms. After that humiliating experience, I finish getting ready and my date arrives. We drive towards the country to see the pretty leaves before we will go to dinner. The car stalls, the great news is we're right near...nothing! In our fancy clothes we walk back to town and of course it starts raining, we go to my house, he calls the tow truck and waits outside while I shake my head thinking to myself what a crummy day, and he's not THE one.
