I guess you mean font size, since the 'words' are made up of letters, which in turn are based upon the windows font settings...
Two things could be going on here, and the first might be the most likely based upon the reference to an accidental click...
Are other thing on the screen smaller too? If so, then you somehow changed the screen resolution, which means the number of little dots that make up the images and 'words' on the screen. Being that the physical size of the screen in unchangeable - i.e. - a 17" monitor is always a 17" monitor, if you slice it up into more pieces (the pixels), it stand to reason that each pixel become smaller. Being that a set font is always made up of the same number of pixels, using smaller pixels to make the font makes the percieved size of the font, and therefor the resulting words, smaller.
Right click on your desktop in a 'blank' area (no programs or icons) and choose properties. In the resulting dialog, select the settings tab and then try various settings in the 'screen resolution' slider.
The other, less likely option, is that you changed the font size in windows. On the same dialog box you were in, on the settings tab, click the 'advanced' button, and in the sub-dialog, on the 'general' tab you will see the settings for display:dpi setting.
Try that if the previous option was no good.
Hope it works out.
