Having one good hit that tops the charts means you got lucky and that peoples' expectations of you will lead to disappointment because your "talent" cannot produce a continuous music that audiences enjoy. Think about it, people love that song, they buy the cd that the single is featured on and are greatly disappointed. Having an entire ablum placed in the top 200 means you didn't just have one lucky song but that you have talent and you have been acknowledge in more than one way.

An album because it has more songs and if you hit top 200, you can feel like all of your songs are really good. And it's better to beat 199 people then just 99!

Definately an Album, it isn't just that one song that is a hit, but the whole album, that is something to be proud of, Anyone can have one single that hits the top.

I'm a musician, not a famous one at all, but music is my life. I don't care if I ever get anything on any chart at all. I believe that true musicians don't care much about fame, and if they do, they get over it real quick.

Slight edge goes to the album. Though the release date
practices are still under recent new plans and ideas working.
Generally 85% is nearly simultaneous.
