*~*I'd be willing to die for freedom, my country, others, rights, and equality.*~*

<3freedom=because I treasure that with all of my heart, and if I didn't have that, boy I would not be happy at all; I'd glady give my life to ensure that the next generation still has the freedom I had.

<3my country=because I love this country, and it's given me so much so I wouldn't mind dying for it, since plenty of others have died to give us what we have today.

<3others=because the safety and happiness of others is also very important to me, and I'd risk my life to ensure that someone else can live.

<3rights=because I'm soo thankful for all of the rights we have, like freedom of speech and being able to express our opinions, and all of the other ones; without these rights I wouldn't be happy and I'd die just like many others to keep them the way they are.

<3equality=because this is also very important to me; people should be able to have the same rights, and shouldn't be disprivilaged just because they're different; I'd die fighting for everyone to have the same rights.

Ireland.

Believe that we too love freedom and desire it. To us it is more desirable than anything in the world. If you strike us down now, we shall rise again and renew the fight. You cannot conquer Ireland; you cannot extinguish the Irish passion for freedom; if our deed has not been sufficient to win freedom then
our children will win it with a better deed." - P.H. Pearse.

(FYI...the if you have no kids, parents, family etc part kinda takes away from the act. The fact that people will die for a cause and forfeit their life with a lover, pet, mother etc is the whole bloody point!)

Everyone has a family, it's unrealistic to rule that out.

I would die (as a last resort) to preserve my family, but only after attempting all other options (and I can come up with quite a few of them).

I'm also willing to go into harm's way for the preservation of my country, and I have. I don't want to think about not coming back, but the possibility of dying doesn't enter into the decision. We have a magnificent and prosperous country serving as a beacon of hope for the rest of the world, and my personal sacrifice is a small prices to pay to keep her going.

Die for your belief in God?

God does not want you to do that. If you beleive that you are dying in the name of God. That it is a free ticket into Heaven you are so wrong and Heaven would be way to full.

From what you listed above there is really nothing worth dying for.

What I would die for is to save another persons life. Selfless acts go a long way.

Well if I had absolutely no relationships, as you listed....I guess I would have every reason to die. With out love....what's the point?
But then again there is God. I wonder if I'd have enough strength to sustain on God's love alone...kinda like Job.
WoW, that's a scary thought!

I am willing to die for the soul of another. I am willing to die for for my beliefs. I am willing to die for world peace. I am willing to die for you and everyone else in the world no matter how much they have sinned or done wrong.

I would die to save the life of a family member or close friend.
However, I do not think I would die for a cause (like a religious or political belief.)
