Lol, it is called exactly what you said it is, a vein. And if you really are serious about being worried, then just chill out. It is necessary for you to get aroused, you need blood to flow there. And stay away from the gay sex.

Yeah some people have alot of veins, and a prostate is inside your body, that is why men have anal sex to begin with. It is considered the G spot for guys. Also if you do have gay sex make sure you use some protection. I know it could be kind of tempting if your at your friends house and you just start fooling around.. but just b/c no one can't get pregnant doesn't mean you should still protect your little buddy.

I also have a vein on my penis. Its nothing to worry about. I ahve had it since i can remember. And i am fine. I am not ill with cancer. It isn't an STD. It is just a vein. It lets the blood flow into your penis. There is one in every penis, approximatly in the same area, but in some it sticks up more than others. When mine is erect, the vein isn't visible as much.

Your prostate is not visible looking at your penis. It's actually inside your body (closer to your anus actually than the tip of your penis). It sounds like your penis is probably normal. I checked mine to be sure and you can see a vein on it too. I hope that puts your mind at ease.

As you describe it, it is the Dorsal Vein. Nothing to be alarmed over. Your prostate gland is not easily seen. If you were to bend over an exam table and your doctor were to perform a rectal exam on you, it would be located at the six o'clock position, 2.54cm up your colon.

See the second episode of 'Life As We Know It'. A comedy I know, but one of the characters thought he had cancer or his 'pen*s was going to explode'. Turns out it was a vein...

if it doesn't hurt it should be ok, different peoples veins stick out more depending on thier amount of fat. I've got veins on my arms forehead and penis. When really aroused they stick out more.
