Chances of being right dead on are slim, mine say i'm due Feb 8th when I swear I should be due Feb 10th, not that the two dates make any difference to me.

Check out http://healthlink.mcw.edu/article/923526833.html you can use that calculator to find out when you concieved by putting in your last period date.

I conceived on Nov. 23rd and had an u/s today showing that I was almost 9 weeks. my baby was 1.6 cm and my edd is August 14, 2007. I would think that you conceived before then to be considered 7 weeks like 2 weeks after you conceived. Now Jan 3rd sounds better as to be 7 weeks. congrats and good luck

It doesn't really matter in the scheme of things b/;c when the baby is ready to come out, the baby will come out. I know folks that delivered a days early or a few days late. b/c the ultrasound or a blood test is probably the most accurate.

It can be off by up to 3 days on either side early on and by 7 days on either side later on.

When I had an ultrasound with my youngest at 7w2d and he measured right on with my due date and with conception.

The ultrasound, and you EDD.. are based on the first day of your last period... not on the day you conceive... You would have to ask you doctor to find out for sure what day you actually conceived on...

The ultrasounds are pretty good, I would trust it.
