Are there still a lot of racist in the south?

Yes, it is like another world down there, every stereotype is true. And racism comes in every color, mind you. We were so moved by the plight of the Katrina victims, we were going down to Sam' Club to buy a truckload of water and food, and were going to drive down there. Then the "victims" started shooting at the relief helicopters. We made a cash donation and prayed for them, it is ridiculous that we could not go down there and help without holding a shotgun in their faces.

Yes. Racists in the South are not unlike the fanatics in the middle east who continue to hold onto beliefs long since discredited and bear grudges from incidents dating back to biblical times. The southerners still delude themselves into thinking that they were fighting for states rights when the only right they were fighting for was the right to keep slaves. Many still fly the Confederate flag, a symbol of hate as much as a swastika. Why anyone would fly the banner of the side that lost and couldn't even get support from other nations that had their own bouts with slavery is beyond me.

The day I meet a black that isn't on drugs and trying to steal my stuff, I'll take down my Confederate flag. I doubt this will ever happen, I don't think there are any decent blacks in the South. Thats why there is so much racism here. If you don't like it stay out.
