How can I eliminate the "it" and make both of these sentences more concise?...Thank youu!

It is true that teachers can communicate with one another even if they are not in a team together. However, by putting 5 to 6 teachers in one group, they are obliged as team teachers (than just regular teachers) to communicate with one another in order to make sure their group of students are not being pushed upon too heavily.
