Does Depo injection give pregnancy symptoms?

I just got off Depo injection about a month ago after trying it for the first time. i was due for another shot last month but decided not to take it as i bled through out, but recently i have had pregnancy symptoms such as weight gain, feel bloated and very tender breasts. i did a pregnancy test but it was negative, im waiting a few more days to have another test. has anyone felt this symptoms before after using depo???

I had weight gain and tender breasts on depo, too. I would take another pregnancy test just to be sure, though.

I didn't get anything like that when I came off it, but I did have the bleeding throughout which was such a pain and a lot of my mates came off it because they had your symptoms while they were on Depo - best to check with yout Gp just to be safe.

I had it like you say for about a week probably 3 weeks before my period came back. I was on depo for 4 years.

For me, my period came back after 3 months and I got pregnant almost a year to the day after stopping. I feel bad for woman who take over 2 years to concieve after depo.

Best to go to your doctor. It can't hurt.

Not after you stop taking it no I would anothe test done to be sure . but I would say that it does make symtoms of a period once off it seem a little strange ,

yes u can conceive on the shout i had my fouth child on that after my last shout i was still bleeding a lot when i found out i was 20 weeks preganet and now i have five children

i did the exact same thing and guess what / i was pregnant , i had a beautiful baby girl ! so i would take another test if i were you. just to be sure.
