the first ticket i got is 40 in a 25 and 1 stop sign...the second ticket is 86 in a 65 on the freeway...and the 3rd....i was driving on a street neer my house omw home and something ran out infront of me so islammed on the breaks( i know i know..."just run it over") and b4 i knew it i was upside down in the dirt :(...so i called my parents and they came and picked me up and we went home 2 call a tow truck....we were literaly walking out the door to go back and a cop pulled up and said we ran from the scene...even though there were no other cars involved....it is a 40 zone and he marked me 4 55(but i was going the speed limit),,,,he tried to trick me into saying that i was going over 70("we have proof from the skid marks")...but the car only goes 55(its an offroad vehicle) and i wasnly going about 42....so they gave me a ticket for 55 in a 40, an unsafe turning manuever, and a "HIT AND RUN!!!" what is going 2 happ 2 me?...and what should i do?.....did i tell u that i am only 16

Sounds like you need to go back to driver education class. You're too young to be driving and obviously too irresponsible to have a license.

You obviously have no idea what you're doing and should not be behind the wheel. Wanna know why? You don't know what the rules of the road are and don't understand why leaving the scene of an accident, for ANY reason, is considered "hit & run."

Your driver's license is a legal document that YOU signed, and it represents your proven ability to pilot a 2-ton lethal weapon and follow the law. You failed to uphold your end of that legal agreement, and should have your license revoked.

Life is not a video game, Junior, and real life doesn't give you a RESET button. What happens next time? What if you KILL someone with your ignorance? What if you take ME out? You're not worth the time and you have no idea how to drive. Stay off the roads. I hope they throw the book at you.

You are going to have to go to court. The judge isn't going to know that you are a good student and are wanting to be responsible, so be very, very respectful and apologetic and try to explain things -- but DON'T whine or accuse the officer of outright lying. Also, it will help for your parents to go with you, so the judge knows that they are backing you up, and they will most likely be keeping a CLOSE eye on you! And finally, SLOW DOWN! There is just no reason to be going 20 mph over the speed limit. Think about it this way: if you have a fifteen-minute trip to make, and you exceed the speed limit by 20 mph, you are only going to arrive at your destination a few minutes earlier.
