i've got a license in my state to give massage therapy and when i'm not working i will suggest my clients go to other therapists that i trust and some are males. some women have no problem at all getting a massage from male, especially if the guy is gay or blind.
Scalp massage is usually given in hair salons and there the client will be with a crowd & feel comfortable so there doesn't matter if the masseuse is male or female......
Good luck and have fun with your new profession

That is absurd... Seriously the people have the nerve to complain about a baby that can't help it! There is nothing you can do if you've tried all and she has colic. Some colic babies seriously cry full force for 23 hours a day! My neighbors whose son was born 2 days before my son had colic. I heard him all day and night... I was never pissed, never wanted to complain... Actually I sympathized with them and felt bad for them and the baby... It also made me feel very blessed to not have a colicky child after hearing what they went throuhg all day and all night. I just can't believe they would complain about that. It is not as if it is something you can control. Maybe you need to talk to the neighbors that are complaining? Explain the situation, that she has colic. Perhaps they think you're being negligent which is why she's crying? Some people truly do not know anything about colic, they do not even know it is a real condition that can not be helped or controlled. Have you tried gripe water? There is a brand called Colic Calm that is the only FDA approved gripe water and it's hypoallergenic. A lot of people swear by it. I know it must be hard but IT DOES GET BETTER. In 2 months your baby will be a whole new baby. When my neighbors baby started to get to be around 2 months I noticed a HUGE change in him. He cried much less and then eventually I almost never heard him. In time it will get better then the colic will go away all together. In the mean time... Just do what you can to keep it together and also comfort your baby... The landlord and neighbors can not do anything to you, they can not kick you out and they just have to deal with it. I have lived in apartment complexes before... And what I notcie is that people have really high expectations... They seem to think that they should never be able to hear a peep out of their neighbor. But it is APARTMENT living, you pay your rent and have just as much right as they do. I am sure you hear them make noise as well. If they want to not hear other life then they need to buy a house or move to the country. Your baby can't help it. I find it an absurd thing to complain about really... It is not as though you can muzzle her... What do they expect you to do? Edit... I had to add that you do not have to re-arrange your house and move your baby around and cover your walls in towels or supply the whole complex with ear plugs or bend over backwards for these neighbors... And you have nothing to be sorry about, you have done nothing wrong, neither has your baby. You said when you're talking to them it is like talking to a wall... Honestly... Just IGNORE THEM. They just need to get over themselves.... You do not need to be stressing over them, if they don;t like it THEY can reaarange their home, they can tape pillows and towels to their wall, they can buy ear plugs or they can move. You owe these people NOTHING. Tell them they can leave you alone or THEY can put you and your baby up in a 5 star hotel until her colic goes away...

Is that the same as ayurveda?

I dont see why, as long as youre professional. I prefer men to give me massages because theyre stronger.
