it really depends on the lizard you have. It just may not be in their nature to be friends but you never know, when I was a kid I had a hamster that used to boss my cat around then I had a rabbit that used to attack my large dog, so you will have to evaluate the personalities of each and really just be carefull not to let them kill each other because you are putting two species of animals together that would naturally try to kill each other for territory

yeah it is possible, but it is usually easier to get them to be friends when the cat is a kitten. try talking to your vet cause it could depend on the species of the pair.
