Just for Fun I created a Super Hero once, Named: "Garbage Man" although he really didnt have any Super Powers, he did have a "Utility Belt" full of Useful Things, For example he was being chased by a Vicious dog...He just in the nick of time Remembered a leftover Turkey Drumstick he was saving in his Utilty Belt, Pulled him out of a Very Hairy situation.
But as for Your Super Hero Character, I would Base It On the Character Background or History.
I would like to see a Super Hero with the Ability To Project EMP's (Electromagnetic Pulses)and Electrical Charges... Bolts Of Electromagetic Energy, but controling its strength and sizes. This energy depending on how much force he allows can stop Machinery, Fowel Up Electronics, Blast Through Rock, Retrieve Metalic Objects of various size like an electromagetic tractor beam....A Name That Came To Mind... "Gamma X" .... if its not already been used, But anyway I hope this helps or inspires you.
Added: The Storyline...In the beginning, dont forget to explain how he came to be and maybe show him learning to control his newly found abilities, may be an oportunity to inject some humor and present the reader with some insight into his personality as well.
Also Dont forget to share the royalties with me when you become The famous comic artist / creator of Gamma X! LOL!

hmm... since there are too much superhero guys, howabout a woman?? idk im better at names for them.
power(s) - 1. can speak, call on animals, can actually become an animal. (links minds with them then BECOMES them, but must be in a certain area, ,like 300 ft. tops)
2.good fighting skills (good with a blade)
